Sad to hear. Won't be the same watching Football or the Packers without Favre. I didn't love him like John Madden does but I really enjoyed watching him play. Great career Brett....and at least you went out proving you could still play.

Thanks for all the great memories Brett! I will always remember you subbing in for an injured Don Majikowski and leading the Pack to come from behind win vs the bengals. That will always bring a smile to my face!

I am very upset...one of the last guys that has a GREAT head on his shoulders to still play in this league. Love this guy!! Brett, you will be missed.

He's one of those guys that you will actually brag about being lucky enough to see play. Nowadays, I know a lot of fans who LOVE to see endzone antics, disrespect to other players, and straight up talking out their asses to draw attention to themselves...........Brett Favre didn't have to do any of that..He just showed up and played every down.

He was fun to watch ... and I'm glad he got out before age really overtook him.

Just all of the innuendo about his pain killer addiction and what might have been more than that. I can't site anything specific at the moment but I recall several outlets insinuating there might be some smoke this PE drugs and Brett.

I for one don't believe it but I would have hated to see him get drug through the mud. You have to think congress is going to go after the NFL after MLB for PE drugs.
