Bret Bielema (HC Illinois)

I seem to remember it being talked about roughly 5 years ago?

I believe it was right after Rodriguez swiped Roy Roundtree from Purdue. That prompted Tiller's reference to Rodriguez as snakeoil salesman. Someone asked JT about if there was a gentleman's agreement not to poach, and he replied something along the lines of "only between gentlemen".

I'm suddenly reminded of an incident that happened when my daughter was about 7 or 8--she was playing Sorry with a neighbor kid. Remember that board game? If you throw the dice & land on the right square you can send your opponent back to the starting line. Well, she landed on the right square & wanted to do that, to which the other kid loudly complained to her mom who then told my daughter: "That's not very nice." It still comes up in conversation every once in a while, when we want to reference the idea that for some people, it's considered impolite when you play the game so you win it.

Yeah, nobody would play that game with me more than once. Apparently, my glee over knocking other people off the board can be a bit grating to the opponents. Pussies.

I have to wonder when this "gentlemen's agreement" came to be. Because Bielema has flipped recruits from Iowa, Minnesota, and Northwestern, among others.

The guy is a grade-A douchebag, and I'm embarrassed that he represents my university. End of story.

I've always liked Wiscy and loved Madison. I had no problem with Barry, but Bienema is simply the biggest douche in the conference. Flintstone's looking to give him a run for the title, but Captain Gameday still holds the belt.

Could we see pro-wrestling-like change of allegiance - set up for a tag-team match of Ohio State-Michigan vs. Wisconsin-Michigan State?

You know if Michigan-Ohio State won the match then the tag-team partners would turn on each other and someone would hit someone with a chair

:slappy: is it sad that I know exactly what he means?
