What a douche!

Just as Bielema lost recruits who had verbally committed to Wisconsin, I've seen a top recruit that verbally committed to Michigan State change his committment after Meyer poached him following his hire. It isn't fun. But Bielema addressed Meyer's tactics Wednesday on National Signing Day: From TwinCities.com: "There's a few things that happened early on I made people be aware of that I didn't want to see in this league that I had seen take place at other leagues. Other recruiting tactics, other recruiting practices that are illegal. I was very up front and was very poignant to the fact. I actually reached out to Coach Meyer and shared my thoughts and concerns with him and the situation got rectified."

Thank you for speaking up, Bret.

I completely despise Meyer for going after recruits that had previously committed to other schools. It's dirty - there was once unspoken rule that if a recruit had committed verbally to play for a school within the conference, you stop going after that kid. Clearly Meyer wants to do things his way and everyone else is just going to have to deal with it.

And from the comments.

Boo Hoo! Meyer isn't doing this "his way", he's doing things the "SEC way". You know, the way that has won the last six national titles. Unspoken rule or or, this is a regular practice in SEC country and a big part of why that conference is head and shoulders above everyone. Everything he did was within NCAA rules so go cry me a river. I'd expect this rant from a Michigan fan, just figured it be a fan of the other school.

BOOM! ROASTED!

Guilty by association.
Don't have to state facts after the character assassination of Tressel by SI/ESPiN.
Anything insinuated will be assumed as truth bye opposing fan bases.

Oh wait! All the other media have condemned Beilema! Even his own AD has said he needs to man up!

If what he saw were actual illegal recruiting activities, he could have simply reported them. No need to get all poignant to the fact. Getting poignant to the fact is way over the line. Nobody needs all that poignanting happening in this league. Leave that to the independents.
Bart Beanenema says, if you aren't poignant, you aren't shit.

I have a feeling in a couple years some opposing fanbase will start asking, "Remember when Urban recruited illegally?" Stupid Fathead Bi-Enema! :mad2:
