It's not often that I root for the Texas Aggies, but this week will be one of those times. Having attended one of these Arkansas-Aggy affairs in Jerryworld I know what kind of atmosphere to expect. Rest assured Aggy fans will let the head Hog hear it if the scoreboard is going their way.

Arkansas' biggest issue is both LSU and Texas A&M are good and locking up their first choices of recruits in that region. Recruiting is a zero sum game, and heavily influenced by inertia.

Yeah, Arkansas is like Iowa; the state is not a "hotbed" for Div 1A football recruits. Therefore they have to go into other states to recruit and usually are left recruiting the "leftovers" (i.e. players that that state's top school(s) pass on).
