I'm pretty sure everyone here thought he was a PoS coach before he bolted for the SEC. I'm sure they could find a better coach if they looked for a guy on the way up rather than an established Power 5 HC or they could hire Lane Kiffin.

Arkansas has the same problem as Illinois ... at the end of the day they're a bottom dweller. The few years in the sun before it all fell apart banging the volleyball coach was all she wrote.
The best they can hope for is somebody like Mason or Kill to institute a culture/system keeping them in +.500 territory with the assistance of 4 DIAA opponents.

The sooners recruit the same area too, so at best 5th, and having to fight off tcu/baylol/okie light. Bringing in bert to implement barry's wisc system wasn't a horrible idea, i just don't think bert can implement it even if he was able to sustain it in wisc.
