That was my first question too.

With Brendan Ferns desiring to major in petroleum engineering, and that being a huge factor in him choosing a school, how does Notre Dame stack up in that department?

"They would have a major that gets real close for him, and would qualify him to get a master's degree elsewhere," Mike Ferns explained. "Plus, it's Notre Dame, and that name means a lot."

If he really wants to major in that program, he would be wise to stick with PSU or WVU.

But, and I'm not certain of course load, is he going to be "allowed" to major in that? That doesn't seem like a course that'll work around his football schedule.
