Was this the next to last season? That's what I was talking about as being better than the last season. But maybe I have my "seasons" mixed up?

I think it was, yes. The last season was good and I loved the final episode, but the Gus plot line was awesome.

Yes. My research says the "Gus" story line was season 4. And that was a terrific season and season 5, to me was a let down. But the whole series was extraordinary. And the multiple awards prove that.

Wife and I just finished up the series... Wow outstanding story and acting. I agree the Todd arc was so much less refined than Gus's but in the grand scheme of things it makes sense as his world falls apart. By far my favorite TV show

Kinda sad now that it's over... Not sure what we'll move on to next

I felt the same way when my wife and I finished the series. By far my favourite TV series. We're now on to the Walking Dead but it's definitely not in the same league as Breaking Bad.
