Breaking Bad / Better Call Saul

i'm looking forward to seeing chuck under the harsh lights of a court room. jimmy foreshadowed chuck's demise. the confrontation clause is a killer... literally. my guess is chuck's pride/jealousy will override his fear of electromagnetism, and he'll testify in court. after a full breakdown, he'll be rendered mentally incapacitated and die alone in the hospital. like his mother before him, his last words will be "jimmy... jimmy."

Two good callbacks the past two weeks:

1) Jimmy only having a $20 when Kim asks for a dollar for legal services.
2) Mike using the last name "Clark" (Dave Clark Five).

I wonder if Jimmy still has custodial rights of Chuck after Chuck was released from the hospital rather than being committed in "Klick".

Couple days later, I'm still wondering how many takes it took for Jonathan Banks to throw the shoes on the wire.

The Walter White pizza on the roof took only one take according to both Bryan Cranston and Vince Gilligan.

I so want to try to shoot a pair of sneakers from the same distance Mike shot them at.

I can't be the only one who thought Hector was going to take a pee in Don Eladio's pool when he was alone (similar to the Breaking Bad flashback).

I also find it funny that Popeyes Chicken is sponsoring "Better Call Saul" (with Los Pollos Hermanos having people already thinking about chicken in the show). Good tie-in.

Just let that closing shot sink in... Chuck has his meltdown and the scene closes filmed through the lit exit sign over Chucks head.

Director Daniel Sackheim also handled episodes 3 & 4 of Game of Thrones last season.

Shit's getting real. I also love all of the characters that are being brought back from BB to have their introduction in BCS. As soon as the vet asked about "tight spaces," I knew Huel was coming back.

While I doubt Jesse appears soon, he gets his first mention next week. In this teaser for next weeks s3e06 Krazy-8 mentions "one of my guys ... new kid" that's already a screw up and leaving him light.
