Brady "XLLL" Hoke (Head Coach San Diego State)

Don't you worry Hokey, I turned that into a dream job. You know what the best parts of this gig are?

First off, there's the free pizza, I loved that free pizza, saved me a lot of money.

Then there's the money, I loved that money, I am really going to miss that money.

And finally, the expectations. See, when i got there they had expectations, but now they are all gone.

They used to expect to go to a bowl game, I fixed that.
Then they expected to be competitive against Rivals, fixed that too!
Now they just expect you to make sure the players put their helmets on before they run onto the field, given time though, I bet you could fix that too!

Oh, and one more thing? Can I borrow some money? I am a little strapped for cash at the moment and people keep suing me.

Sure I got some money in that gentlemen's agreement from Les.
He forwarded me some of the bonus he got from Tiger AD when I recommended to Dave that he inquire into the other Michigan man.
You know us coaches are part of a big brotherhood and I will be the first to voice publicly my sincere appreciation for your legacy at my alma mater. Lower expectations are my friend, and you are the man!
I apologize to all of my fan club here, but the Hoakster has been hitting the recruiting trail hard recently. Even Beav has been praising my efforts!
Wanted to update you on the successes I have been having, almost makes my head swell to think how much love I have been getting from the recruits and even the Detroit Free Press.

Brady Hoke?s first official visit weekend a success

BY JOSH HELMHOLDT DETROIT FREE PRESS SPECIAL WRITER

Brady Hoke went to work quickly to organize an official visit weekend to take place just a week and a half after he was introduced as Michigan?s head coach. A total of eight prospects spent the weekend in Ann Arbor, braving the extreme cold temperatures.

Three of last weekend?s official visitors had already given Michigan commitments prior to their trips, including Pickerington (Ohio) Central cornerback Tamani Carter, who pledged his services last Wednesday.
Carter was joined by Grand Blanc running back commitment Justice Hayes and Tampa (Fla.) Plant offensive line commitment Tony Posada. The 6-6, 315-pound Posada had visited Mississippi State the weekend before, but firmed up his Michigan pledge during his stay in Ann Arbor.
?I am very confident now,? Posada said. ?Coach Hoke and his staff are going to take this team to the next level, and I am happy to be one of their players.?
Michigan added to their ranks when they received commitments from Highland Park cornerback Raymon Taylor and San Diego kicker Matt Wile on Saturday. The 6-2, 210-pound Wile replaces former kicker commitment Matt Goudis, who committed to Miami the weekend before. Wile has the ability to handle field goal, kickoff and punting duties. ?When I got here it just felt right,? Wile told Rivals.com. ?My dad is a fourth- generation Michigan man and I?ll be fifth generation, and that played into it a little bit.?
The other three official visitors in Ann Arbor last weekend were Denver Mullen linebacker Leilon Willingham, Vista (Calif.) cornerback Stefan McClure and Cleveland Glenville linebacker Frank Clark. . . .
Clark is rated three stars, while Willingham and McClure are both rated four stars by Rivals.com. Hoke followed up McClure?s official visit by flying out to California for an in-home visit with the Army All-American cornerback and his family on Monday evening. He plans to announce his college selection before the week is out. There is one official visit weekend left before National Signing Day and Michigan is scheduling more recruits to visit their campus. Four prospects have already committed to visiting the school and more could be added before the week is out.

Now I remember why I hated you so much, you always were one dumb mother fucker, you don't even know where you went to school. You were never even a GA dip-shit, you started your coaching career at the high school level.

I swear damn Michigan ADs, they'll try to hire someone who's already dead next.

Hoke has added 6 commits to the class already, most of us thought this class was going to be horrible. It appears Hoke and his staff may pull a top 25 out this class with only 3 weeks work.

Not bad at all

You really think that poaching recruits from programs the likes of Indiana, Minnesota and Purdue will get you a top 25 class?

Until he does something like get Zettel (a Michigan kid) to commit (which he won't), color me unimpressed.

No, THIS is "not bad at all":

8. What elite program is really, really rocking so far?

Ohio State is doing to the Midwest what USC did to the West over the last decade. They Buckeyes are getting their pick of the region's top players and are able to go nationally to recruit a handful of blue chippers. Talent is a big reason why Ohio State has the most wins and best winning percentage of BCS schools over the last six years, and it's bringing in yet another great haul.

Glad you approve.
BTW that article also tells you what an uphill struggle we will have with our defense.

Can Brady Hoke fix the Michigan defense right away?

The good news for Hoke is literally there's no place to go but up for the Michigan defense. I attended the Wisconsin / Michigan game and the contrast in size and athleticism between Wisconsin's offense and Michigan's defense was really eye opening. San Diego State wasn't exactly TCU when it comes to playing defense, but getting more athletic defensively for Michigan has been Hoke's first priority.

Can anyone say "bare cupboards?"
LM and JH told me I was a fool for thinking I could fix a Carr wreck caused by a broke tie Rod.

Brady here again, before I have to go back out chasing after soft verbal recruits from other elite schools,
you know, I would like to express my appreciation for all your love and the support from my new Buckeye Planet family and especially give a shout out for my new Brady Hoke fan club!

How can I ever thank you all for contributing your love and affection by donating to my reputation those beautiful red rubies!
As much as I am now fond of maize and blue, I do find attractive that scarlet on a gray background. Those mods sure have an eye for colors!
I only hope one day I can earn your complete favor and you will grow to like me as much as you supported my predecessor.

But I will cherish those dazzling jewels and send some back your way when I can figure out how to get my rep gun to dispense accolades your way.

Define what you mean by elite? I think your idea of elite is a litte different than what others think.
