No no - this is about Hoke.
Gibbons had been expelled when Hoke spoke. He didn't say he didn't know why. He stated a false reason why.
It is an undeniable lie.

the bigger question is that since michigan inserted a new policy on such matters in august of 2011, did it take two years to get around to reviewing the gibbons allegations? whenever they formally began that investigation, hoke surely knew about it.

If Hoke lobbies for his share of this mess the same way he lobbies for his share of pie on Thanksgiving he may end up with the whole thing on his plate.
