Brady Quinn (Fox CFB Analyst)

It's been a while, but worth noting that in my youth, I was Brady's manager at Hollister in Dublin and I'm pretty sure I've never been more disappointed in the youth of our country since the day I met him. If my then boss hadn't been dying to polish his wood like a carpenter on ecstasy, I would've had him fired every day we were on staff together.

You could say that about a lot of teens in Dublin.

It's going to be awfully uncomfortable with the two of them in that closet....errr locker room after this interview.

Exactly.

Quinn wants out of Denver. He knows he isn't going to get a shot with [strike]Jesus[/strike] Tebow there.

He probably won't ever be anything more than he is now but if I'm him I want released, too.

Yeah, I understand wanting out but I think there are better ways than making yourself look like dick.

I think he knows there are plenty of other guys in the NFL who agree with him.

Tebow plays like shit for 3.5 quarters, Denver wins 13-10 and it's "oh my god, Tebow is awesome!", completely overlooking the fact the defense kept them in the game for 3.5 quarters waiting for him to do something.

Media hype is one thing, NFL players know better. Privately, in an honest moment, I'd bet many of Tebow's mates would prefer a QB who completes more than 8 passes and can put 30 on the scoreboard.

Quinn is probably the perfect guy to be one of the first players to say it. For better or worse, he is recognizable and people pay attention in part because he's the one who said it. At the same time though he's such a shitty player that he doesn't have much to lose in terms of image by saying something unpopular.

The comments attributed to me in a recent magazine article are in NO WAY reflective of my opinion of Tim and the Broncos. Tim deserves a lot of credit for our success and I'm happy for him and what he accomplished. Most importantly, he is a great teammate. That interview was conducted three months ago, and the resulting story was a completely inaccurate portrayal of my comments. I have addressed my disappointment with the writer and have reached out to Tim to clear this up. I apologize to anyone who feels I was trying to take anything away from our Team's or Tim's success this season.

To be honest, even if the comments were taken from 3 months ago, they weren't entirely untrue and he was saying what other players like Suggs were already saying. Tebow is by no means a good quarterback, not by a long shot. He does have the ability to wear down a pash rush by using his feet, but ultimately the teammates around him make him look a lot better than he is late in the game. I expect Tebow will improve in the off season, and unless Denver drafts a better QB he'll probably remain as the starter, but I don't forsee them having the same kind of success next year.

Well that's true, but then in the NFL about a dozen teams or so don't have such a QB either.

A lot of things being said about Brady Quinn. Nobody has said he was wrong though.

Was he wrong that Denver's defense and luck contributed a lot to Tebow winning and that he has a lot of work to do? No, but he also went long stretches without turning the ball over, something Quinn can only say now because his ass rides the pine.

That's what I hate about these agent written fake apologies.

Christ, Quinn; man the fuck up. You said it. You meant it. Hell, you weren't even fucking wrong. Stand by your god damned words.

Don't I wish the Browns could do that.

You mean like he did against the Squeelers in the playoffs? :wink2:
