Wow. Classy post Bleed S & G... That story wasn't even posted for 20 minutes before you were able to chime in with the "yeah but he's a doucebag" sentiment. What you said neither contributes to the conversation nor was even respectful towards the family of the deceased. You stay classy Bleed S&G... I wouldn't want you to sacrifice the padding of your post count for simple decency or worthwhile contribution to dialogue.

I'm not the only one!

awesome story! too bad my friends who have met him and went to school with him claim he is a grade-a douchebag.

Get outta here closet ND fan.

If you wish to continue, please PM me and keep the BQ thread somewhat clean as the mods are too busy banning people like yourself this time of year.

Edit:  I never saw those posts from alumni, good stuff.

I think that Quinn sitting the whole year is probably the best thing that could have happened to him, granted that Derek Anderson had an outstanding year, as the Browns turned their team around big time.

I think that him being able to sit his rookie year and learn the game, watch the guys around him, and get his dose of humble pie will pay off big time for whatever team he breaks out with. Now I think that a lot of the pressure is off of him that would have been placed on his shoulders had he been drafted in the Top 10 and expected to be the one to turn around a failing franchise.

I myself like Brady; at ND I thought he may have been given unjust attention, but his fill in work for DA brought some things to mind.

1) He settles down quickly in games: Evident by the first couple plays and then how he performed the rest of the drive.

2) The biggest; he had an incredible arm. I know you guys saw those dropped TD passes; they weren't the result of poor placement. Braylon, Kellen and Eric aren't use to how fast the ball gets there. Winslow's catch is the best example. It hit him in the chest, and got there in a hurry... he just couldn't maintain it.

Personally, I believe Brady will be a better NFL QB than DA. Not that I have anything but love for Anderson, but it seems like when its not a pass 10+ yards, he has issues with timing/distance. So keep playing DA until Brady is ready to have the console; that secures two solid QB's. I can only see that as a plus to preventing injury, and preventing a lack of offensive effectiveness should somebody have to go out for a series or two.

I'll side with my man Phil Savage, who seems to think DA will be the better QB... or at least that the question is still open.

Better Arm: DA
Better Mobility: Quinn
Leadership: DA seems like a quiet leader so I'd say Quinn
Better Consistency: ?

The last one is the key. If DA can improve his accuracy and most importantly CONSISTENCY I think his arm strength will make him our franchise QB. There were times this year when he was brilliant, fitting the ball in tight spaces, and making great throws and decisions. There were also times that he fell apart (See end of the first half against Cinci... make that the whole game). Consistency will determine who will start and who will sit/get traded.

I don't get why every OSU fan hates Quinn. I mean, the Dolphins would kill to go back in time and take him.

Wrong.

The Dolphins would've would kill not to have lost 13 starters to injury this season, or for a massive Oline to hide behind but not to go back in time to draft Quinn. We'd have been much better off picking up Troy in the 4th round though.
