Bracketology and Selection Sunday Discussion

This was the easiest year for picking teams on the bubble.

Very little discussion of who got screwed, that‘s so annoying to listen to most years.

I was impressed with the way Keith Gill, chairman of the selection committee and the Sun Belt commissioner, actually answered the questions about the process.

I like he explained in detail and not give bs answers. I also like that they moved Purdue to a 2 for winning the big ten title. Years past, it almost seemed like the conference tournaments didn’t matter for power conferences in seeding.

I don't think anyone really got "screwed" but a Texas team who's been terrible for a month getting in is kind of a joke. They should absolutely put some weight on recent performance down the final stretch of the season

I think it also because a lot of teams shit the bed down the stretch including Indiana. Oddly enough, the top 37 teams in Kenpom got in. Texas was right at 37 and auburn was at 38.

I woulda given Texas spot to OU. Same number of losses but OU won 6/7 down the stretch including beating Texas head to head.

This is indeed like arguing about what turd smells the least though.
