Went through the official 2007 thread and grabbed some of last year's rules. Roster sizes & stats. Anyone want to change anything?

Players from BCS conferences only.

ROSTER
Start:
1 QB
2 RB
2 WR
1 RB/WR

5 Add/Drops for the year, Waiver Wire

SCORING

Passing, Rushing & Receiving TDs = 6 pts
Passing Yards = 1 pt / 20 yards passing
Interceptions = -2 pts
Rushing/Receiving Yards = 1 pt / 10 yards rushing

Kickers
PAT = 1 pt
Missed PAT = -3 pts
FG 0-49 = +3 pts
FG 50+ = +5 pts
FG 60+ = +8 pts
Defense
Defensive TD = 6pts
Interceptions = 2 pts
Fumble Recovery = 2 pts
Safety = 2 pts
Points Allowed
0 = 10 pts
1-6 = 8 pts
7-13 = 5 pts
14-20 = 2 pts
21-27 = 0 pts
28-34 = -2 pts
35+ = -5 pts

Returns
TD = 6 pts
Return Yards = 1 pt / 10 yards return

Bonus
QB -
Pass for 300 - 5 points
Pass for 350 - 5 points
Pass for 400 - 5 points

RB -
Rush for 100 - 5 points
Rush for 150 - 5 points
Rush for 200 - 5 points

WR -
Gain 80 - 5 points
Gain 120 - 5 points
Gain 150 5 points

The only numbers I remember not caring for were the bonuses for quarterbacks and receivers. I propose a 300-350-400 tier for passing and a 100-150-200 for receiving.

The QB bonus was the one that really seemed off to me.

I just threw in the WR figure because I like nice round numbers like 100-150-200 rather than screwball numbers like 80-120-150. Hell, the interval doesn't even stay the same with last year's numbers. It just isn't right. :pissed:

I tend to agree. The QB bonus should be more like 300, 350 & 400. To spread it out more. But the WR bonuses I like since WRs don't get that many yards anyway.

[sarcasm]We can always make BK happy by making it 75 - 125 - 175 so it is evenly spread out [/sarcasm] :biggrin:

To sum up and to get everything back on track (or at least try to)

Ok, by my count we have 3 people that want a keeper league so far (BN, FKA, BKB) and no one against it yet. So speak up people on if you want a keeper league or not.

Also we will switch up the QB bonus points to 300, 350 and 400. Anything else?

I don't remember stating an opinion on the keeper situation...

Oh... wait...

I did say I agreed that if we do keeper it should start after this year's draft..... Which, is true... if we do a keeper league.

I'm not sure I'm sold on the idea of doing a keeper league, though.

My only question is about checking in once a week is for the draft. Unless you have better access to email and I can let you know what is going on via email.
