My honest opinion is that Texas, USC, Va. Tech, Penn St. and Ohio State are the best five football teams in the country right now. Of the five only USC has a mediocre or suspect defense. On a given Saturday these five teams would beat any other opponents in the country. Unfortunately Ohio State has had to play 2 of the five already and "blew it" on offense against both.
Georgia dropped for me because Shockley is out and Florida is coming in- that will be a loss. I also dropped Alabama this week because they haven't scored more than 6 points the past two games and was still able to win. Great defense but no offense without Prothro.
Look out for UCLA. Maurice Drew may be the best player in college football.
