BP has two tickets to the Alamo Bowl for you?

The tickets are mine! Muwahahaha!!

I'll donate the latest WeAreSC magazine (featuring "The Carroll Plan") if anyone wants to raffle that off.
A raffle for TP, Thomps? I haven't been in one of those since our RA was raffling off two-ply freshman year. That better be two-ply.

I can't go to the game, so I was thinking about entering, and if I won, auctioning them off on E-Bay and donating the money to Clarity. However, that doesn't ensure that a Buckeye gets to go, and it REALLY SHOULD BE A MEMBER OF BP. Honestly. The gesture is there, but these tickets should go to someone from here that bleeds Scarlet and Gray. I hope it's somebody that is in Texas, too, so they don't normally get to go to the game.

i would suggest just having one set price buy in, say $10, like you suggested and have everyone who "buys in" have an equal shot at the tickets. If people wanted to "donate" more, then that's fine, but just b/c someone people pay more $ for more entries, they shouldn't necessarily be granted them, if we wanted to keep the odds equal for all entries. just my 2 cents.
The goal of every raffle is to try to raise as much money as possible by selling as many raffle tickets as you can. One set price of $10 is perfect, but you should be able to buy as many raffle tickets as you want...as this will benefit the cause.

Thanks all, for the feedback and to those who have participated so far.

To date I show 11 entries, for a total of $180.00. This does not include, clearly, anything that's been sent via the mail.

As I said before, all of this is going into a side fund for a replacement server. Particularly given the recent discussion in the administrative area about the site getting slow during peak times of the day. BP was very fortunate in that I had the resources already available to put it together, and get it going to a certain point. But with traffic and size comes the need for more firepower, and we're approaching that point faster than I had anticipated.

I bet that probably sounds like a guilt trip attempt to get more people to participate in this little mini-fundraiser. You're right! Lol, not really, I just want everyone entirely aware of what's going on, where we stand, where we're going, etc.

I will be PM'ing everyone who has entered so far, sometime later today. Just so you have confirmation, have your entry number, etc.

This is unreal!!!!!

These tickets are right in front of mine(actually I am in row 33, seats 18 and 19 just a couple of seats over)

I have entered the drawing. If I win I will take the highest offer I get for the tix from a BP member. Just send the money to C-dog.

Whoever does wins turn around and tell me to buy you a beer!!!!!

Clarity.. can you tell us how much you've raised so far?

Yep, sorry, should have thought to do that. I really need to find something for the drives that shows that live.

We're up to $340.00 which I'd call a real success. If we can get whoever wins them to take pictures and stick them on the site when they get back, that's a double win.

Thanks to everyone who has participated, particularly he who provided the tickets for this purpose.
