BP Fantasy Baseball (2008-2024, Current Champion = MD Buckeye again)

I'll nominate Jonathan Lucroy for most worthless decently high rated player of the year so far

So I'll start with this Hacking Mass team, feel free to join in.

Catcher:

Gary Sanchez drafted #17 (first catcher off the board) current yahoo ranking #701

Jonathan Lucroy drafted #74 current yahoo rating #758
View attachment 15522

Lets take a vote. Both are dreadful pieces of excrement. I vote for Sanchez but I'm a little biased.

Yeah, Lucroy is the heapingest pile of mastodon dung at that position

I'm calling bullshit on all of that. You're both being offered Kyle Schwarber, straight up. Let's see if you really believe your guy is worse. 8D

I'm not crazy about my pitching match ups this week, which is a big reason why I wish playoff match ups were two weeks long rather than one. The randomness of the MLB schedule can be huge.

But yeah, I suspect you'll do better than 1-11. Obviously, the schedule worked out nicely for me that week.

5.50 ERA, 1.41 WHIP :hoke:

But the biggest drags were losing wins (6-5), holds (2-1), and strike outs (75-74), by one each. Losing TBs 149-145 didn't make me too happy, either.

I think I would have been upset if you pulled off a tie on wins and a win on Ks after Kershaw couldn't get the win with his gem and all the Ks my starters racked up. TBs was one I thought I was going to pull off heading in to Sunday but that sure became interesting as you pulled away in HRs.

I racked up both holds on Sunday after going 6 days with 0.

Porcello, Verlander and Arrietta have all been a bucket of shit.

Aroldis Chapman's injury made a lot of Betances owners happy. I wasn't one of them. I acquired him for holds, not to be another closer.
