Even when it's good it's bad:

GOOD: My starting pitcher, Buerhle, just threw a perfect game.

BAD: He did it against the Rays, and I'm starting Bartlett and Zobrist, which means with the light schedule today, a full 1/4th of my offense went 0-fer.

Holy shit, my team must have been on the juice last week. A 12-0 romp to move into third place...which means they'll probably all turn to shit this week.

It didn't hurt that my enitre team decided to essentially take 3 days off in the middle of the week. Never seen anything like it.

Came at the right time with half my lineup (Pedroia, Wright, Bartlett, Zobrist, Inge & Hudson) all mired in slumps.

My best player over the past two weeks has arguably been Ryan Ludwick, and whether or not I start him is like playing Russian Roulette since LaRussa was already using an outfield by committee before the Holliday trade. I get maybe five games a week out of Ludwick if he's on a tear, less when he's in a slump.

Yep, it takes 2 to tango to get a 12-0 whitewash.

I'd say last week, and the pending beatdown I have coming from Logjammin, are the waterloo of my season.

Worst performance of a fantasy basbeall team I've personally ever put together aided in no small part by some of the worst decisions I've ever made.

I knew I picked the wrong time to stop sniffing glue.

I dont know whether I should feel good that I actually have a fantasy team that is respectable or be scared to death of a curse about to happen.....or maybe I need to STOP sniffin glue

I'm a big sports jinx guy but that wasn't an attempt at one on my part.

My team is a complete sack of shit. Anyone who isn't a sack of shit is hurt.

Whats my record? 82-96-14? How did I ever win 82? :shake:

I see I'm not the only poor bastard who drafted Pedroia and Wright. I have them in a roto league I've played for 15 years. Safe to say, having two guys who hit 50 homers last year sitting at a paltry 10 so far this year has done wonders for my HR total. :pissed:

It's down to you and me Jax, fighting for that 4th playoff spot. Since the All-Star break I've turned in some real gems, such as being whitewashed 0-12, and losing this last week 3-6-3. I was in first place overall heading into the break.

Inge, Ibanez, Hudson, Huff, and Ludwick have done neither jack nor shit in over a month, and David Wright is on the DL.

I'm crawling over the finish line and will likely go out with a whimper next week. It appears Jake's catch-and-release program is the correct route to team-building.
