How do you put someone on the dl? I have had John Lackey and Edwin Encarnacion taking up 2 bench spots cause I didnt realize we could put someone on the dl. Any help would be appreciated and met with some greenies

In your day-to-day roster manager you need to switch to "classic view," which disables the Java drag-and-drop roster management and replaces it with an older style standard form, where each player has a drop-down menu for position assignment, including DL.

You can have two players on the DL, maximum. Once you've assigned them to the DL, you can go to the FA players list and pick up two more to fill out your roster back to 25.

Hey Jax, how's Berkman workin' out for ya?

I just wanted to pass on some of the managerial wisdom of Cecil Cooper to you, Jax:

Brewers strike early against Backe, top Astros 5-1 | Baseball | Chron.com - Houston Chronicle

"We're a good offensive team," Cooper said. "We just got shut down. This is the third day in a row. I'm sure sooner or later we're going to get it cranked up again."

Even slugger Lance Berkman, one of the hottest hitters in baseball this season, resorted to dropping a bunt single in the eighth inning, with the Astros down by four. It was only the second bunt single of his career and first since 2002.

"That's a good play," Cooper said of Berkman's decision to bunt with the third baseman playing him deep. "That's a baseball player's play. It's a nice job. We need baserunners. If you hit a ball out of a ballpark, I call them rally-killers when you get down like that. We need to keep a rally going, and that was a nice play to me."

Words cannot express the level of disgust I have for that type of stupidity.

Forget fantasy baseball, thats just a human showing how incredibly fucking stupid our species can be.

Sorry about that, I didn't mean for it to ba a complete fucking. I thought it was a good trade at the time.

If it makes you feel any better I cut Justin Upton from Arizona because he had a bad start and they said they might send him down. :!

Thanks. :wink2:

Of course, I cut him in another league just like you, and someone else grabbed him.

At least my team is showing signs of digging out of an early season hole.

Hudson, Zobrist, Inge, Ibanez, and Wright all hit homers tonight. That's right ... I got five (5) HRs from my fantasy team in one day!

Can I get an 'Amen' from the congregation?

Do you realize the magnitude of the jinx you just put on yourself? You'll have 5 guys on the DL tommorrow for that one. The fantasy baseball gods are cruel fuckers.

With the injuries I've already had this year and the loss of stats the past two weeks because of rain outs, I'll take my chances. They couldn't be any crueller to me than they have been already.

Inge and Ibanez were studs for about the first six weeks of the season, then they tanked the week I was matched up against you. Hopefully they're comin' around again.

Just bad timing, my duds have decided its ok to hit the ball for a little while. It won't last.

I've still got Reyes on the DL for what started as a cramp he got on a plane ride to SF if you can believe that bullshit. :roll2:
