Well at the mid point of our fantasy season I can say my plan has come off as well as I could have expected.

Said plan was to put Paul Goldschmidt at the top of my pre draft ranking so yahbot would take him with my first pick. This would accomplish one of two things;

1) The cardinals fountain of youth would win out and another aging slugger would have an Edmundian resurgence, put up triple crown numbers for the next 5 years and thereby make me, as the fantasy owner, happy.

or

2) My fantasy whammy jinx would win out, he would have a Vottonian cliff dive in productivity which would proper fuck the WB's season and make me happy.


It has been the latter
