He offered, I accepted. He's been after Longoria for weeks, and seems to think Maeda will be better than Wood the rest of the way. If Wood stays healthy I think he'll be wrong, but with Wood that's always been the wild card.

No problem. It's all fun anyway but I don't get it. What's fun about keeping the team you have and just sticking with it while upgrading off the FA heap? Especially with the gang of losers that Yahoo drafted for me. One closer and no other RP? Kenta Maeda, Matt Moore, Rich Hill and Vince Velazquez as starting pitchers? The sinking ship of Josh Donaldson at pick #5? I tried to save my season. Thinking back on some deals...
Donaldson and Vargas for Kershaw - a first round pick and a good FA pickup pitcher for a first round pick. Seems fair.
Benintendi and Paxton for Sale - That was a good deal at the time. Benintendi was producing (still is) and had hype and Paxton was lights out. He has since fallen on some harder times since a stint on the DL but nothing outrageous about that deal.
Pujols, Gonzalez and Leake for Scherzer - Two SPs and a legend!/&!;;!&! for Scherzer. I don't know if anybody thought Scherzer would be as money as he has been, even if he's been good for years. So has Verlander...
Story and Rodriguez for Greinke - He wanted the immortal Story and I threw in a replacement pitcher to ease the blow to his staff. Now Rodriguez might be on the DL and Story might be just another shitty SS this season but that's his guy.
Reynolds and Shaw for Bryant and Hamilton - I think I got ripped in that one. Thanks,

Bryant for Miller - I wanted a good holds guy. Traded an MVP for him. Some might argue I gave up too much...at the time.
Alonso for Shaw - After losing Bryant, I found myself needing 3B again and Shaw for Alonso was an even trade.
A slew of OF for Stanton (for HRs) and a DL'd Braun - I took the risk there without knowing how Braun would be or when he'd be back.
I'm sure I've made other deals but I can remember all of these off the top of my head.
