BP Best & Infamous Threads

Colonoscopies are covered in every health insurance I have had.

Just get one. More importantly, get your wife to get one.

I made light of it, but they go in and remove pollups (sp?) and essentially cure you for a while. It is 99% curable. People just don't know. Again, no fun breasts and pink ribbons.

Actually, to add a nicer air to this, I came out of my last colonoscopy (I have to go a lot given my mom dying young) and promised I had someone waiting. I didn't. This was in Chelsea NYC.

So I hailed a cab in a total twilight haze. He asked me where to go. I said "home." He asked, "where is home?" I said, "Ohio.'

I eventually corrected to East Village, but it was pretty funny. . . And OMG the gas you get after those things. . .

I'm 27 and have already had one because I was having some issues so I wanted to be safe than sorry..luckily it was nothing, but was glad I did it because it gave me peace of mind, plus my grandpa died of it because he was stubborn and never got checked til it was too late

I don't want to get things too real. But besides my colonoscopy escapade, my mother and now, this year, my wife have died of colon cancer. It kills more than breast cancer but doesn't get the flamboyance because no fun breasts. That is pathetic.

Sorry to be a downer.

So sorry for your losses brother......you're definitely in my family's thoughts.

Okay, I am starting a colon cancer awareness thing here. But more importantly is LEGO awareness.

Everyone should get a colonoscopy, but everyone must also swallow a LEGO man for the video, and request the video. I am going to make this a thing.

I have a colonoscopy scheduled for October. Everyone should get it done. It's easy and usually covered by insurance.

Interestingly enough, I just had skin cancer removed from my nose by the Moh's procedure (99% cure rate) and some plastic surgery done to repair the hole it left close to my right eye. Basil cell is common these days but should be removed as soon as possible to prevent possible growth into organs like the eye or brain.
If you have something growing on your face or body get it checked out. It could save your life.
