hate to see roy go out like that. he took a beating tonight.
Roy got split early, and got whooped on for the whole fight. Calzaghe is legit though, although he will probably retire too.

I love Roy though, first thing he says is about repping Pensacola.

And the generational megafight of Manny Pacquiao vs. Floyd Mayweather Jr. took another blow with a pretty poor decision going against Pacquiao in a snoozer of a fight. It wasn't the blowout that the HBO announcers said it was, but it was still pretty clear that Timothy Bradley did no damage and furthermore did nothing to justify the scoring that went his way.

HBO's Harold Lederman had it scored 11 rounds to 1 in favor of Pacquiao. I had it 9 rounds to 3, with Bradley winning only rounds 1, 10 & 12 (and round 1 could have just as easily gone to Pacquiao). Kevin Baxter of the LA Times saw it the same exact way as me: Link

Okay so Bradley didn't do any damage to Manny..but did Manny do any to him? I mean sure he was the stronger puncher but the rounds are three minutes..you take 2 minutes off per round and it adds up.

Yes for the record I was shocked that TB got the decision...but in reality I can see how and why he did.

EDIT: Floyd would Win easily against what Manny showed tonight.

In short, yes. Manny's punches were moving Bradley back several feet. He staggered him on a couple of occasions. He landed something like 100 more punches, and with significantly more power than Bradley. There is no way to sugarcoat this one.

Tell me what rounds manny lost. I want to see how someone could score it 115-113 Bradley and not lie to themselves. He was rocked and wobbled many times throughout the fight. I seen bradley do very little during the time pac danced around and took it easy. The numbers aren't even remotely close.

Like I said Manny did have more power..but i didn't see the 100 punch difference and I don't care what compubox said..just because the Manny crowd cheered didn't mean they landed..Reminds me of the De La Hoya Mayweather fight. And no matter what you or some guy from L.A says if you aren't the aggressor for 2 minutes of every round...you are not the aggressor.

WTF do you care what I think..it's a niche sport and the NBA is better. 2,6,7, 10,11,12 but I didn't record it. And he wasn't rocked many times in the fight..he took a few early but hardly the entire fight.

Bob Arum, the person who stands to make the most from the terrible decision and subsequent rematch, stated that Bradley himself admitted defeat before the decision was announced:

"Can you believe that? Unbelievable," Arum said. "I went over to Bradley before the decision and he said, `I tried hard but I couldn't beat the guy."
