He was on staff as a position coach (RB coach I think) at Charleston Southern during my son’s tenure there. Has nothing but good things to say about him….

I thought the guy got out of bounds, was surprised the ref signaled to start the clock after moving the chains.
Seemed like it should have been reviewed at least.

Did NIU's coach think it went out of bounds too? If not, would they have had enough time to spike the ball?
When they got to 4th and 1 with 0:07 left, I was thinking that this is a tricky predicament to be in. I thought they were going to go for the TD instead of the first down.

The clock was at 2 when they were moving the chains, so by rule they couldn’t spike it after that.
