I've watched drips and drabs of this first half and the Juggalos have no business playing in this game. Nice story, but this is the death knell of non-power 5 teams in the currently formatted playoff. The talent difference is immense.

Bama went on a 38-7 run vs Georgia their last game. Perhaps it's just a Bama thing?

But Cinderella story blah blah...dont get me wrong they have some talent but they have zero depth bc they are Cincinnati....plus their schedule was fucking terrible so it completely skewed how good they really are. Just finish them off Bama and then it's Georgia and the task at hand

Notre Dame finished 5th and lost to UC. Bama's playing their best ball at the right time and Nick's going to add another trophy.

I can’t believe Bama gets to play Cincinnati for a spot in the title game. Might look back after the final and wonder wtf were we thinking?

(ok some hyperbole, Cinci took care of business and a lot of other teams (OSU included) did not, but still. It’s Bama vs freaking Cincinnati).

at least Bama can hopefully get some rest in case the Woody forbidden happens in the 2nd Semifinal.

They had a bye week vs ND last year too.

Everything fell into place in ways that rarely will for a non-P5 team. The only non-playoff one-loss team in the top 20 was ND and UC was the team who beat them.

Two-loss teams weren't really considered, and most of them didn't deserve to be.

Oh, it's Bammer, too; but UC does not have the pieces to play with the big boys. Fickell can coach, he wrings the most out of what he has, but go look at the recruiting rankings...they aren't good enough to give teams like Bammer, Jawja, and tOSU (most years) a game.

I think most fans outside of Cincinnati know that, but as far as earning the 4th spot this year I think UC did it. The two-loss teams made their own beds, and if UC wasn't here Notre Dame would be getting their asses kicked (probably worse), instead.
