Boston Red Sox (9x World Series Champions)

Actually, before the game the other night, they were comparing Manny's stats in Cleveland and in Boston. They are almost identical.

Undoubtedly true. And in relation to Manny, some of my responses are biased because I consider him to be a turncoat lunatic prick. However, his postseason has been nothing short of fantastic. The guy has only played 5 games, and he's got better numbers than Trot Nixon had all year long. (ok, I'm embellishing there). But look solely at his numbers in the playoffs with an 0-2 count: I believe the stat the other day showed that he had 2 homers, a +.500 average and a whopping 5 walks in the postseason with that count. I cannot recall a stretch like that against such quality pitching before in his career. I only wish I had proof to back it up and not biased speculation - but to put up those kind of numbers after being out for 20 games late in the season with a strained oblique raises my suspicious eye in the steroid era.

Which would make sense since he went from one of the most pitcher-friendly parks in the HHH Metrodome to one of the most hitter-friendly parks in Fenway. And it's particularly kind to left-handed hitters with the short fence in right.

And here is a link showing Fenway as the most hitter-friendly and the Metrodome as third most pitcher-friendly, in case anyone was curious. :p

The Red Sox need to get this guy then:

Imagine what he could do in a hitter-friendly ball park. 60+ homers? Break Hack Wilson's RBI record?

Hey, whatever pal. I don't have a horse in this race. I was posting a logical explanation for an increase in production from a guy rather than jumping to the conclusion (like you did) that he must be cheating because he put up better numbers.

Also, I fully expect the Mitchell investigation to expose Manny and Papi. There's no way their eyesight is that good without some sort of help. The Indians simply cannot pitch to them.

Your post is nothing but sour grapes. Even with "fans" like you, I have nothing but respect for the Indians. Enjoy the series.

It sounds like a whole bunch of sour grapes to me, too, regardless of the fact the Indians won.
