hmm... i seem to recall that type of sentiment a number of months ago.

likewise.

As long as the players aren't saying it, it doesn't really matter.

I personally think this team has the talent and the unending source of motivation from the UF game to roll the rest of the way. I needed to see them vs a legit offense and after seeing what they did to MSU, I'm sold.

I've been wrong before but I'll be honestly shocked if we don't win out.

EDIT****

BrutusBobcat said what I'm feeling about our chances this year in the T. Pryor thread much better than I could ever say it. The Bold is mine:
While I appreciate everyone's attempts to inoculate against a potential disappointment, I really can only agree partially with this thought. Pryor isn't a bonus, he's the keystone to a phenomenal class. Yes, the class will be great regardless, but the addition of a top-shelf QB will make it as close to perfect as we're ever going to see. It goes from a Category 4 storm to a 5+ tOSU-goes-all-Katrina-on-the-B11 storm.

This is a big deal. Let's all be honest and say that it's a big deal. I am willing to risk being greatly disappointed if it means getting to enjoy the anticipation of the whole process. I'd hate to ruin it with Cassandra-like handwringing about a sky that might fall. Let's dance on the edge...let's dream great dreams...let's mix our metaphors with reckless abandon...Pryor is coming to Columbus and there's nothing that Rich Rodriguez can do to stop it. :oh:

Going back to where we were talking about BC going undefeated if they won tonight I think I can say that BC could lose to anyone left on their schedule.

That schedule is hardly intimidating...

Florida State- Merely a ghost of their former selves

Maryland- A so-so team who can't beat the superior teams (see this year's and last year's WVU games)

Clemson- they always fade in the second half

Miami- See Florida State.

FSU still has a good coach, Maryland kind of sucks, Clemson still has the other Bowden and don't ever count Miami out, they have talent and are dying to show that they can do something on the field.

BC is #2, they have a target on their chest, just like us, for the rest of the season.

Hardly intimidating for OSU... but in a weak ACC, anything can happen. I guarantee BC loses at least one game. There I said it.

FSU's good coach has lost twice in a row to WAKE FOREST?!

Also- they DO NOT have offense. tOSU's scoring D is more frightening.

Jimbo Fisher left Death Valley for this?

Do you know ANYTHING about college football? Do you know who Bobby Bowden is? You're going to discount a coach with 10 conference titles and two national titles? Don't discount him, he may not be what he was but against BC he can be very dangerous.

If his team actually showed some life THIS YEAR, then I would be cautious.

He is not what he once was- I know how he great, but FSU does not have mentality of "watch out- they can sneak up on you" like Kentucky.

I AM cautious about Miami- they do have some talent and actually know what offensive football is.

I would agree with giving him his due but Bobby has gone fishing, he's completely checked out. He's no more in charge there, or to be feared, than I am.

Also, the talent level is so far removed from what people remember of the dominant FSU teams its not even funny. They are a lower level ACC team the past couple of years(when the ACC is pretty damn weak over all) for a reason.

All opponents have to be respected but there is no reason to fear FSU if you are a legit top 25 team.
