I despise Boston and their fans, and I will enjoy their misery.
Thanks for the kind thoughts.

They only have the best player in the conference, who, if I am not mistaken, is getting better with age and experience.

"How good would Phoenix be without Steve Nash?"
"How good would San Antonio be without Tim Duncan?"
"How good would the Lakers be without Kobe?"
On any good team, if you take away the best player, that team is going to suffer. Fortunately, since the Celtics aren't a good team, you don't have to worry about that.
OH10;895860; said:If you're suggesting that, somehow, Detroit just got better with age over the last year, I think you're mistaken. In a 6 game series this year, Cleveland, with a younger team, was the better team.
Napoleonbuck;895881; said:I believe Cleveland took the season series against Chicago and Toronto though.
Chicago still has no post offense, so if they're tired or their jumpers aren't falling, they're ridiculously vulnerable. Their defense will save them against the bad teams in the East, but against Cleveland and Detroit, teams with defenses just as good, it won't matter.
What did Chicago do to make their team better, or Detroit? Do you really think a few rookies will have that great an impact that it will alter the playoff seedings?
I really just see this as Cavs backlash because of the Finals.

I just think there's a clear top three of Chicago, Detroit, and Cleveland that could go any way depending on a number of factors(does Lebron give a shit for the first half of the season instead of phoning it in? Does Chicago find someone that can score consistently inside? Can Detroit rectify any internal fighting that's been going on?).
After that there's Toronto and New Jersey.
After those two, there's the rest of the league.
