Last year we got a lovely $25 Gift Card to Topps... oh fun I was able to buy some beer!!!

I apologize. I didn't mean for it to come across like that. It was more in reference to the fact that it is to Wal*Mart than the amount. (My wife and I don't shop at Wal*mart ever) A bonus is just that: a bonus. Fifty dollars is fifty dollars.

I'm just particularly fed up with this place (my work, not BP ) right now. I know how much money the owners/officers have taken out of the company this year, but I have to listen to these same people bitch about how we cannot afford to pay our bills.

Again, I apologize for sounding like a whiny bitch. Any and all criticism is justified.

A small engineering consulting firm. We've had a good year, and I've found it's great policy to reward everyone.

They did awy with that annual Xmas party and instead passed out a crisp 100. Then 2 weeks later, a great bonus (which uncle f'n sam took 25% for fed tax) and in 5 more weeks a really big bonus is coming.

It's great to work for good people.
