Luckily teams can get better over the course of a season. As I recall, Ohio Staate struggled mightily to put away some cream puffs early in the schedule in the past only to win some pretty big bowl games.

I'm not saying Sparty is going to be any good- they will be Sparty so I'm sure they'll eff up royally at some point, but it is pretty silly to predict bowl game results based on week 1 action.

Fuck the potatards. With that shit sandwich of an offense, I see them dropping a couple this year, which will hopefully tone down the Boise talk next year too.

Bell should be in the Heisman conversation now, and the Sparty front 7 looked exceptionally good. Unless there is a hell of a lot of improvement though, I still think that qb and defensive backfield cost them a couple of games. And never underestimate Sparty's ability to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. They almost Munsoned themselves last night, and they will at some point this season.
