I have zero faith in UGA to get the job done against Boise. Georgia secondary is supposed to be one of the countries best. Boise has new receivers but most don't realize Boise is a running team. Boise still looks like a better team with a top caliber QB. Will Georgia be able to run on Boise? Not enough to offset the better balanced team.
Boise all the way in a close one.
A tip for my Buckeye friends.

You will go broke betting on Georgia. That is all.

Boise State won't be playing 3 guys that were born in the Netherlands because they're eligibility is being reviewed by the NCAA. All 3 played for them last season.

One is a starting WR and another is a starting safety.

Who knew that along with a little window shopping, you could get football players in the Netherlands?

Three Boise State players under NCAA review, out of opener

BOISE, Idaho -- Boise State coaches say three foreign-born players are being held out of the season opener against Georgia because the players are undergoing a review of their eligibility by the NCAA.

The players include starting wide receiver Geraldo Boldewijn, starting safety Cedric Febis and backup defensive lineman Ricky Tjong-A-Tjoe.

Athletic department spokesman Max Corbett says the players did not make the trip to Atlanta, where the No. 5 Broncos are getting ready to play No. 19 Georgia on Saturday in the Georgia Dome.

Corbett says the NCAA review is not related to academics or violations of team rules.

All three are from the Netherlands and left high school early to enroll and play prep football for high schools in Boise.

Tjong-A-Tjoe

I hear that in the Netherlands, you have to pay good money to get your Tjoe's Tjong'ed.

Meh - it's the first game of the year, I'll shake the rust off. They'll get funnier, I promise.

My brother just raised an interesting question...

Would you want Boise State to win, giving them hype throughout the rest of the season or would you want Georgia to win, and have them jump us in the polls?

I'd rather have the 2nd, because they're not going to stay ahead of us for long.
