Boise St -3.5 vs Georgia (GA Dome), (ov/un 51.5) Sat 8 ET, ESPN

Sorry 7. and all the teams above them play each other respectively.

Okla v FSU
LSU v Oregon
Alabama v LSU
Stanford v Oregon

I think this would be the only chance Boise has to get in. Barring Alabama and Oklahoma are unbeaten.

Look at TCU last year, undefeated but SOS kept them out of the NC. I suppose that it's possible but unlikely.

The other 2 teams were big 6 undefeateds. Cheaters none the less but undefeated. If Oregon had lost earlier in the yeah than TCU would have been in. If Auburn lost earlier in the year but still won the SEC with one loss. There would be your dilemma.

Well I guess we'd better hope that two teams from BCS conferences go undefeated because there's no fucking way in hell I'm rooting for Gawja.

Point taken. And though we can't agree on that, we can agree that we hope tOSU is one of those undefeated teams.

I'd rather not hear SEC echo throughout the dome.

I'd rather hear S-E-C echo throughout the dome for one night as opposed to Herbie whining on national TV for the rest of the season about how he (the evolved one) wants to give Boise St. a title shot, but no one else will let the little guy have a chance.

The only thing worse than an S-E-C chant is reading that ass clown Pat Forde type "BUS" about Boise. I want to see that bus derailed week one. With that said, one of the best nights I had last year was drinking on what must have been a Thursday night or a Saturday night at the Sloppy Donkey on high street when Boise State lost to Nevada late in the year. Everybody went nuts. So what did we all do? We sang "We don't give a damn for the whole state of michigan..." and we sang "The cess pool of the world" lyrics to their fight song. And yes, there was 1 Michigan fan in there.
Drinking $1 pitchers and watching Boise lose, while celebrating how bad Michigan sucked. Memories.

Are they really going to chant that for beating Boise? That would be as embarrassing as losing the game.
They chant it every year after beating NC State, even when it's a hideous 7-3 game:

SEC fans are going to be obnoxious no matter what happens in this game because they have 12 teams to fall back on and past seasons. Losing games really doesn't make a difference to them.

If Boise State loses they will disappear from title contention for the entire season and all will be right with the world. Definitely going for a Georgia victory in this one.

Truck driving schools are highly prestigious in the south. I can see why they'd be proud of themselves if Georgia wins.

Well if those two teams are that certain to blow through their schedules, maybe they deserve a look in a BCS game. I think that both of their schedules are dotted with landmines.

Landmines? Really? Care to name them? Besides Georgia, BYU and each other, I'm not seeing anybody on either schedule that should have a chance against Boise State or TCU. Furthermore, I'm not seeing anybody on either schedule where a loss would allow the coach of a real top program to keep his job.

I don't see Boise playing for the title even if they are undefeated. The only way that happens is if everyone else has 2 or more losses.

There are too many people looking for an excuse to put one or both of them in the title game to simply write off the possibility. Part of the reason Boise State's loss to Nevada was such a big deal last year was that the campaign to get them in to the title game was already mounting.
