Boise State so far looks like a far superior team to Ohio State. They have some actual imagination with respect to offensive game planning.

I know what you're getting at - but Boise also has a more experienced QB and as long as Braxton is on the bench for Ohio State, a more talented one too. Even if Ohio State were inclined to be more creative, they have little business trying it as long as Bauserman is under center in my IMO.

I'm not saying the personnel are superior. They're obviously not. But coaching makes a huge difference when it's this good.

Fair enough. I also edited, if Scott catches that ball over the middle, we're looking at a different game.

They're also at full strength. I don't necessarily think they look like a "far superior" team to Ohio State. I also don't think you can overlook the fact that they had 2 weeks to prepare. I think they seen what gave Ohio State fits, and worked on that until they were blue in the field..err...face. But you're completely right about the offense.

Now, if the two teams were to play, I'm not saying Ohio State would undoubtedly win, but the truckers aren't "far superior," in my IMO.

Funny how Kellen Moore gets lucky like that every week.

Wasn't a knock on Moore. That particular throw wasn't his best. It was actually not that good, in my IMO.

But these announcers will probably compliment Moore on the deuce he drops in the locker-room at halftime.

I wouldn't go that far. Moore has been more impressive than Bauserman & the play calling seems to be superior, but that's about it.

That's all it takes. Seriously.

As much as it seems like it may be an indictment of the current edition of the Buckeyes, it is also a statement of how much they will miss Tressel and Pryor.

There were also 2 fumbles that Toledo could have recovered in Boise territory, one on the rugby punt, and Boise scored TDs on both of those possessions. I'd like to have seen one of Moore's tipped passes fall into some defender's hands for a pick-6, also, but Toledo didn't get a lucky break on those deflections.

Helluva catch by Page to set up that FG.

Peterson... "some of our drives sputtered"

you mean when you called an option with Moore on 3rd and a foot.

or when you brought in your backup QB on 2nd and 10 and ran a double reverse for a 6 yard loss?

Again, since the Buckeyes aren't now at full strength, they aren't as good as they will be in a few weeks. But at the moment, BSU looks like a much better team than the Buckeyes are now.
