'Bo' not happy with Irish or Bucks

As for Bo and Woody in the next world. I don't know how you define hell, but my guess is that Bo defines it as having to get out of bed every day and having Woody hang 50 points on him while going for the two-point conversion right to the end of the game.

Come to think about it, that's probably Woody's definition of heaven as well:biggrin:

For those who don't know, "Because I couldn't go for three" was Woody's quote after tOSU went for a late 2-point conversion (that failed) in the 50-14 win in the 1968 game. Bo started as the scUM coach the next year.

edit - 2-point conversion failed - thank, LV

I wish I did. Then I wouldn't have assumed that the 29 straight points that tOSU scored after the score was 21-14 were 4 TD's with a final 2-pointer. :tongue2:

I found this on Google.

oski.com
the article is a little off about why they went for two. the truth is, the guys were so busy celebrating that they didn't have time to get the special teams out on the field, so they just line up and went for it. when Woody said, "because i couldn't go for three," he was actually covering for his guys...

Well they definitely wouldnt have to if they'd grow some balls and join a conference
Erm, if you ask me ND has a harder time by not being in a conference...I mean, look at the way the BCS games go and the teams that got in last year, ND could have had an easier time getting to one if it had joined certain ones. While they do play all 3 military teams this year ( Which is fairly uncommon ), they normally have a tough schedule. Can't really blame ND for last years schedule, wasn't their fault TN, Purdue, Pitt, and even Michigan were below their marks last year.

ND has a tie in to the BCS, atleast they did. Something like if they win 9 games they automatically get in.
