Hummm ... too many paint chips. Let's see ... you have a brother ... he has a friend ... this friend has a cousin ... the cousin has a sister. That would also make the sister a cousin of the friend. So it would be unnecessary to say "cousin's sister" as this would just be the friend's cousin as well. Unless, of course, there is some West Virginian quirk of fate at work here where the cousin's sister is not actually the friend's cousin as well. Maybe she is also the friend's mother as well? Or any such oddity of the family tree.

Now, where do I get these paint chip thingys? :wink2:

3yards, it was a step-sister. He was a blood relative of the cousin, but not the sister, therefore, instead of saying "step-cousin", which sounds odd, I said "cousin's sister". Sheesh. If only you people would eat your paintchips before reading my posts, you would understand perfectly.

Although, from all accounts, I won't have to insult him...:biggrin:

Oh suuure FKA. Someone misunderstands your "step-cousin" / "step-sister" / "cousin's sister" leap of logic. You misunderstand their replied attempt at humor. And I, the great uniter of paint chippers and non-paint chippers, get the lecture. Where is the justice, I ask? :biggrin:
