My local channels on Directv went down in the 4th...I didn't get to see the end!!!
After the Browns punted, they went into a "semi prevent" defense (not as bad as the defense in the Jets game) and they really eased up on the pressure on the Bills QB until the Bills got down to around the Browns 20 and then the Browns started to apply more pressure which eventually saved them the game.

Kameron got close to the Bills QB a couple times but seem to get there always about 1 or 2 seconds too late.

Lewis played one hell of a game and showed that he is really the running back the Browns need in this type of weather. If I were Savage, I would sign him to a one or two year contract. He seems to have a lot left in his tank.

He's gonna want, and get, a longer deal from someone.

If I'm Savage, i tell him that we want to sign him to a 3 year deal (I doubt he signs any less) and let him retire a Brown. I also tell him that we are planning on drafting McFadden (with our first round pick that we get from Atlanta for DA  ) and we want Lewis to share carries with him and show him the ropes.

I went to my first Browns game since 2000 yesterday. It was fun, but compared to Ohio Stadium - LAME!!! Not that I think that it should be as intense. But I was surprised at it.

1. Holy Crap!!! How is it easier to get inside a 500-year-old stadium than it is to get inside a 10-year-old stadium? When they were designing it, did they see one concept, and say, "Bah!! That's way too easy to get in. Look at all those entrances. Cut it down to four entrances into the stadium." And don't give me the "they have to check everyone to make sure no one is a terrorist" excuse, because they let us walk right by - didn't search a thing.

2. The stadium was only about 3/4 full. I've been to Ohio Stadium when it was 4/4 full on snowy days like that. Maybe not quite that snowy - but colder. No excuse.

3. Maybe it goes with the 3/4 full part, but the intensity of the crowd wasn't what I thought it should be. Ohio Stadium is as loud when Ohio State is leading Indiana 34-3, Indiana has the ball in the third quarter on second-and-9, as Cleveland Browns Stadium was at the end of yesterday's game. Like I said, it might go along with the 3/4 full, and it might have to do with the weather. Still, it didn't look like the fans were watching a team trying to make the playoffs.

Don't get me wrong - I had a blast. But Ohio Stadium still wins.

Agreed. The wait to get in was an absolute joke. The Stadium was only about 1/2 full by opening kickoff.

Never seen a game in Ohio Stadium close to that. Not close. I wasn't there for the Snow Bowl, but I can tell you that I have never seen anything like that before. The fans were there, they were loud, and it was a great atmosphere.

The fans really showed how tough they can be. The conditions were awful. The wind was freezing, but they stuck it out. Of course, despite the conditions, it was fun as hell just to be there.

Until they are allowed to sell beer in Big Ten Stadiums, Cleveland Browns Stadium wins... hands down.

.
I think you can blame a lot of that and the owners of the club seats we just go to the games to make deals or whatever. It is very similar to the "elderly adults" who attend the Ohio State games and just sit on their asses.

Trust me, the old Cleveland Municipal Stadium was not like that back in the 50s and 60s. Of course, nothing now is like the good old 50s and 60s:biggrin:
