they're better off giving up on the billboard idea and redirecting the money to the Larry Coker Buyout Fund. It's painfully obviously that program is in a rapid state of decline with that old man at the wheel. Firing a few assistants will only get you so far before the natives want your head on a platter too.

In regards to the billboard though, I can't imagine any billboard company would have the balls to put that up in Ohio. It'd never happen.

Miami's program is quickly dwindling like a west coast sunset. It's pretty bad that they have to look back several years to find any bright spot in the program.

Face it Miami...........you are has beens.......you've had your 5 minutes of fame for the next 20 years. Off to the MPC computers Bowl you go. If you need directions to Boise, please stop off at a local 7-11 for an atlas.

I like the one guy over there. He posts about 10 links. Show the win percentages over the last decade. Each link increasing a year. He shows OSU has only beat Miami in 2 time periods. But he fails to mention the 70 years before 1995.

Looks like some jealous people south of us still think the game hasn't ended yet. Maybe we should put together a DVD pointing out the obvious penalties that weren't called and the obvious one that was...

...and advertise the DVD locally via billboard in southern florida.

P.S.- Don't take me serious on that one :smile:

I come home, all liquored up, from a brithday party and find this crap.

My opinion of Miami fan is based purely on my experiences in Tempe for the 2002 NC game and having to sit with Miami fans during the game (granted that wasn't many). Their arrogance was second to none; not only did we have no chance in the game, mainly because we had no speed, but we were borderline football Neanderthals to most of them. When one has such a level of arrogance, and such a low opinion of the opponent, getting beat due to being out-coached as well as not having the superior team speed doesn't sit well. Amazing that 3+ years later, as their little football world slowly swirls down the shitter, this is what they attempt to cling to?!?

Many will claim this is sad, and in a way I guess it is, but I find it humorous. As that old saying goes, when the going gets tough, rent a billboard to blame others.

Pathetic doesn't describe this movement. This is just Miami fans trying to distract from their debacle against LSU. They are quickly turning into a mediocre program and are trying to figure out when the downturn started. Well, I'll tell when it started going downhill for the so-called "U".

Probably the same offshore casino Bobby Bowden's son got ole Bobby to invest in. In regards to O$U, maybe sweater vest and their AD were in on the take and ca$ed out famously. If the NCAA were to disqualify O$U and give UM their rightful NC, and either strip O$U of 6 schollys per year for 3 years, or give them the death penalty, nothing would be sweeter. We all know that Clarise was in eligible to play in the Fiesta Bowl, but was allowed to anyway, and some people also believe that Chris Gamble was academically ineligible. Why the NCAA didn't screen O$U for academic casualties is the biggest sports mystery of the 21st century.

You know that sad thing is that as smug, crass, arrogant, vile, vindictive, fair-weather, and badwagon-riding as the typical Cryami fans are, I could still cut them some slack for being upset about the call if they hadn't all been screaming they were going to go Cumberland College on our ass before the game. It is downright comical to see people who said they were going to run us off the field 84-3 whining that a single call (ONE CALL) robbed them of their beloved national championship. It's true what they say, those who don't learn from history are doomed to repeat it, and I guess they learned nothing from Penn State in 87 or Alabama in 92.

A 4th and 16 conversion by Minnesota in 1999 sent Penn State into a tailspin that it took until 2005 to recover from...from the looks of it, and the increased DI opportunities (South, Central) in Florida, I don't know that Miami will ever recover from 2002.

so says the fans of the team that had andre johnson get busted for academic fraud twice in 6 months but only missed summer practices.
