The BTN is officially on my guide! That's the good news. Bad news is that it says "Big Ten Network coming Saturday Morning" on a blue screen. It better come Saturday morning, or I'll be beyond pissed. If it ain't on by 11:15, I'm Audi 5000.

I almost second guessed myself about dropping Time Warner, but how long it is taking them to set up the network, making people wait until game day until they know for sure whether they are going to be able to watch the game at home or not has sealed the deal for me, fuck Time Warner, even if they are carrying the BTN.

I live in Fremont, Ohio. I just got off the phone with Time Warner about 8 minutes ago. I only have the regular cable (no extras) and the operator guaranteed me that I would have the BTN available starting tomorrow morning before the Buckeyes kick off. Apparently there is no extra cost or package required to receive the channel. Better late than never and better free than having to pay!

Go Bucks!!!!!

I will be at the game tomorrow. For me the issue is recording for replay. I can't set up to record the damn thing before I leave if the channel doesn't yet exist.

Can I get some violin music please.

I just wish the BTN would have taken a global fan viewpoint. We could see a lot of games, pay per view yes, but a lot of games before these clowns showed up and extracted rents. Fine, charge us, but make the bloody games available outside the US on the internet. I don't like giving ESPN one cent. Thanks to these clowns, I have to, and I still don't see more than a handful of games.
