Big Ten Conference Divisions

Not to derail the topic, but I never noticed there was an 11 hidden beside the T in the Big Ten logo until now. :tongue2:

Lakes and Plains? Black and Blue? Woody and Bo? Stars and Stripes? Nike and Adidas?
At noon, the wait will be over and we'll know whether the Big Ten went with geography, colors, tradition, patriotism or corporate partners when it comes to the names of the conference's two divisions. At noon on the Big Ten Network, Big Ten commissioner Jim Delany will announce both the names of the two divisions that the league is creating for football starting with the 2011-12 season and the new logo for the new 12-team league with the name that's off by two.
Nebraska is joining the Big Ten officially in the summer of 2011, and now that the divisions have been split and the first football title site has been determined - Indianapolis - this is the next order of business.
Remember, these are the two football divisions that the league is naming:
Plains/Black/Bo/Stars/Adidas/Other
Michigan
Nebraska
Iowa
Michigan State
Northwestern
Minnesota
Lakes/Blue/Woody/Stripes/Nike/Other
Ohio State
Penn State
Wisconsin
Illinois
Purdue
Indiana
Delany will speak with reporters after the announcement special, so check back later for more coverage on the latest step in Big Ten expansion. Personally, I'm partial to Black and Blue, but I think Lakes and Plains is probably the betting line favorite. What would you choose for the division names?
