If being conference champions is the be-all end-all, then there's absolutely no point in having a committee. Just pick the 4 highest ranked conference champions and send them to the playoffs every year. And make sure you only schedule FCS schools before conference play.

The fact that we have a committee in the first place, and that the committee has explicitly said they pick the "best" 4 teams, makes this a no-brainer.

He's holding a trophy. If it was Urban we'd be applauding it.

The oversize conferences and their divisions are a bit of a joke, but it is what it is and it worked out in PoSU's favor this year. As long as it doesn't work against Ohio State, I don't care, but we're in the hands of the CFP committee now. Wish us luck.

I agree with you, but like last year we lost the worst possible game we could lose (as it turned out), so we'll see. At least this year we're going into the final vote in better position than we were last year, but the system still sucks.

Here's something that has gotten me back to 100% confident and it's easy to forget

Will they really push us out and keep Washington in?? Similar records with us being 3-1 against the top 10 with a 3 point loss on the road at night. Washington is 1-1 and got man handled at home at night vs USC.

The debate will not be PSU or OSU but rather PSU or Washington
