Big Ten Basketball Thread

When Wisconsin players are getting mad at the coach, you know it must be bad.

Just sayin': Cheese isn't the only B1G team where (for whatever reason) players weren't happy with their current situation (i.e. playing time, team, coach, and/or school, etc.). According to the link (below) 57 B1G basketball players entered the transfer portal earlier this year. Minnesota (10), Penn State (7), and Indiana (6) potentially took the biggest hits; only scUM had nobody looking to leave. Not surprising, the Cheese AD issued a statement supporting his coach. He probably had to do that or take some kind of adverse action, etc. Needless to say, both were extremely disappointed that the "private" meeting had been taped. Welcome to the way it is today in college basketball.

I believe we dropped the hammer on Duke the last time, no?

Repeat for K on his way out!
Yeah, and Coach K stressed how tired Duke was at the time, having just played Maui recently before the game. Made no difference TBH, he had a team that lost to Lehigh in the tourney that season, while OSU made the Final Four. Clearly Duke was overmatched that game, it was just sour grapes for K to blame being tired. I am hoping OSU beats him again and some reporter asks him about how hard it is to win at OSU, given that he would be 0-2 in the Schott with another loss.
