I think that's the third conference game that Sparty has won in OT, and in every one of them they were behind in the last minute, and Draymond Green got an offensive rebound and got fouled, and made a pair of FTs. Against NW'ern he made 6 straight FTs at the end of regulation in order to tie the game.
Without him getting clutch offensive boards and hitting FTs, Sparty could have 6 or 7 losses in the league by now.
Edit - Draymond Green reminds me of Anthony Mason, who bounced around the NBA but was on some good Knicks teams in the '90s.

The score flattered Wisconsin who showed their lack of class with that last dunk.
Purdue turned a corner last night. They played the first half with their confidence still very much shattered and ended the half horribly. There was a lot of home cooking in this game, especially early. Painter went wild when one of his men was knocked out of bounds driving for a bucket and no foul was called. Coming back like they did, to lose only in the last minute, suggests to me that Purdue will now right the ship.
On the other hand, I think that "Ohio State has never won at Kohl..." story may be going the way of "Ohio State has never beaten an SEC team in a bowl..." story this year. Provided that the officials haven't been bought.

Preseason #2 and played Duke to within 5 points @ Duke and UConn to 3 points. 3-4 in their last seven, and all three wins required OT.

Watching Duke/Maryland on ESPN3 and MSU/Iowa on the big screen ... wife walks up in my line of sight to the TV to tell me something about kids' homework, so I respond with "Honey, you make a better door than you do a window!" She looks over her shoulder and says, "Ah, Sparty is getting blown out, you don't need to watch this." I say, "Oh yes ... Yes I do!!!"
