Thought this was interesting considering the recent comments from BC's AD DeFilippo about ESPN's supposed involvement in the Big East/ACC's restructuring.

"The Salt Lake Tribune is reporting that Big 12 television partners ESPN/ABC and FOX Sports had a role in making TCU the newest member of the conference, in lieu of BYU. The paper reports that the media partners were concerned about the university's policy of not playing games on Sunday and how it might impact future basketball telecasts"

Missouri Moves Closer to Joining SEC

The University of Missouri is heading down a path to join the Southeastern Conference, said a university official with direct knowledge of the situation.

The person said that Missouri's decision to apply for membership to the SEC was "inevitable and imminent," although a specific timeframe has yet to be set. Missouri?s Board of Curators will meet on Thursday and Friday at the University of Missouri-Kansas City, where the process of withdrawing from the Big 12 and applying to the SEC is expected to begin. Expansion is not listed on the agenda, but there is a private session scheduled Thursday afternoon and Friday morning.

After it applies, the person said that Missouri expected "no problems" with gathering enough votes among SEC presidents for it to become a member.

Looks like Missouri is taking what's behind door #2.

Even though the Big Howevermany looked to be more stable after adding Texas Fundamentalist U to their ranks, Mizzou still bolts.

Evidently Longhorn NetWork has created many [censored]ed-off bedfellows.

Ultimately I see Tejas in the B1G, Okie and Okie Lite in the Pac 28, and the rest of the Big Howevermany merging with the Big Country Conference (merged MWC, CUSA, MAC, WAC, BLeast) to form the Who's Left Conference (WLC).

The WLC will not get a BCS berth, but they will be awarded the vending contract to serve pizza and soft drinks at the National Championship Game which will feature the winner of the playoff amongst the Pac 28, B1G, ACC, and SEC.

Oh, and I almost forgot - ACC gets a berth but must also provide drivers for the buses that will drive team bands from the other conferences to the BCS games. The teams themselves will, of course, fly G5 charters.
