You heard all of that over the incessant fapfapfapfapfapfapfapfapfapfapping they were doing?

The sad part is, as slow as I type, I had to hear Mark May's line of [Mark May] about 5 times before knowing I had it verbatim.

It is hard to understand what he's saying.

Proud to say I'm on my sixth day (after the lawsuit) of avoiding anything related to ESPN in terms of website and radio (excluding soccer coverage).

Already did it with ESPN TV after the 2008 BCS National Championship Game (excluding game action).

Spielman brought up on his radio show years ago that ESPN execs mentioned BTN specifically in a meeting and worries that the Big Ten would leave ESPN in the future (expanding BTN in the process).

I'm just shocked critics haven't linked Ohio State with Casey Anthony yet. Some probably have.

Unfortunately the "excluding soccer coverage" says it all.

We are here because we love college football. All but the most extreme will watch CFB on ESPN this fall.

The alternative of course is not to boycott ESPN, but to boycott their sponsors.

I have already given up fantasizing about Danica Patrick.

I'm on my 7th... year... Haven't watched (other than games) ESPN since the 2004 debacle. And I do my best to bash them to anyone that will listen. They are a monopoly, plain and simple. And with that, they have the power to shape the opinion of the masses of college football fans, and that's bad for everyone, not just tOSU.

All of those schools would find soft landings in the Mountain West or the WAC (if its still alive in this scheme). Iowa State, K-State, Baylor and TTech would all find homes somewhere, but it may not be in a BCS conference.
I wouldn't put any of those guys out of the realm of possibilty from finding a soft landing in the Big East. Well... maybe not Baylor. I know they were drooling at the possibility of the Big XII folding and picking up a number of Big XII teams in the last go 'round of expansion. Tech, in particular, seems extremely reasonable, especially since they already have TCU in the fold.

I could definetly see Missouri and Kansas in the Big Ten. The only other school I could see from the Big XII becoming Big Ten Country would be Texas A&M, though they seem completely smitten with the thought of becoming part of the SEC. All 3 of those schools are solid programs in both football and basketball (with Kansas being the only powerhouse... in basketball), all are land grant colleges for their respective states, and A&M gets some SERIOUS research dollars annually.

I have a hard time seeing Texas joining a conference if the Big XII were to break up. Kinda hoping the season they had this past year isn't just a one year thing and they (and their fans) come spiraling back to earth to eat some humble pie.

'10 - were down 8 pts, early 4th after consecutive TDs
'09 - led Irish until last 0:25 seconds

'08-05 - ND won by double digits

'04-03 - Purdue won by double digits

'02 - ND won by 7 with zero offensive TDs.

'01 - another 1 score win by ND (24-18)

'00 - 2 pt win, ND hit FG as time expired

I'd say they've been pretty competitive with ND overall.

3 - 7? 26 - 52 -2 overall? Then I'd say Michigan has been "pretty competitive" with the Buckeyes the last 12 years
