The "I've never had an orgasm my whole life" face

    Bicyclists are the worst.
When you're a pedestrian, they will bully the shit out of people. Particularly in "no bike" zones or on sidewalks when there's a bike lane.

But once cars get involved it's all sHArE tHe ROaD
And then they play victim to try and bully drivers.

I used to live in a pocket of South Anne Arundel county with a lot of windy fun roads.
In the summer, every weekend, all these randos in weird getups would take over the P&R - making it unusable for intended purpose - and go on a mini tour de france.
And then act entitled when people just trying to go to work, buy groceries, live ... actually wanted to go somewhere.
These roads are 50. But there will be a clump of like 40 bikes taking up both lanes - even the oncoming lane in parts.
All transplants from yuppy parts of DC that would never act this way in their own backyard to their own neighbors... but come out to blue collar land to interrupt everyone else' life.
Nobody would care if they were just single file. Most of the roads had plenty of shoulder space. But nope. They gotta pretend they're in the Tour de Anne Arundel.

Then there's the assholes on lookout mountain in West Denver, just above School of Mines. Going up, they all behave themselves. It's the adrenaline junkies coming down that cross into oncoming... fully over the yellow line... while you're trying to keep respectful distance from bikes in your lane... on a mountain road that doesn't have a lot of space. One side is off the edge, and the other is rock.
I'm surprised there weren't more deaths on that road. Certainly not thanks to the spandex crowd.

    I fucking despise bicyclists.

My daughter lives in Chicago and the dudes on bikes are an absolute problem. Driving is a problem because they seem to think lights are for cars and losers. Also even parking and getting out of your car is stressful as they drive mach 1 right next to the parked cars. They love to squeeze between the parked cars and the traffic, passing cars since the bikes can go faster due to traffic.

The daughter has no car and she hates them even worse for all the same reasons. She says they are terrorists and act like they own the city. Her complaint is that at least while in a car the people on bikes get punished for being idiots (car bigger than bike) but "on the ground" the bikes will blow up humans on foot.

Yes yes. You have much more of a right to drive your sports car as fast as you want on the fun curvy roads acting like its the Suzuka GT than someone else does to ride their bike.

    Totally. For sure.

I'm also sure you have made sure to give a full 3 feet to pass every cyclist you've ever overtaken and not made the pass if you couldn't do it safely.

I understand people get frustrated with the groups, I also understand that some cyclists are assholes. (And in fact in the parked car door scenario should be in the middle of the road not near the parked cars)

Also understand that they are unprotected, and yesterday I got cut off by a vehicle turning right in front of me towing a boat while I was on a residential street in a bike lane. Where were the police? It WAS the police.

I almost exclusively ride alone but I understand why the big groups stay together, its because motorists are also assholes, of which I am also one.

I dont terrorize bicyclists, even when I'm a dick about it.
And yes, i make sure to give them plenty of room and wait until it is completely safe to fully sit in the oncoming lane.
... even while i make my displeasure known (there is 0 reason this couple needed to be smack in the middle of the road)
    Safety first.

Apologies for the view; worst dashcam ever.

I’m not sure what you mean. They did nothing wrong, and neither did the motorists. It’s an incredibly narrow, winding, residential road with no shoulder. The cyclists biggest danger on that road is motorists trying to pass them with oncoming traffic (no safe space for that) even if they are mm’s from the edge of the road, and from motorists entering from their driveways, and you have to make yourself seen to them. If that was a flat farm road, it wouldn’t be an issue. Certainly nothing for anyone to be frustrated or upset about, unless the motorists lack the simple virtue of patience.

One of us was sharing the road.
The other was using their status as "victims" to hog it.
They could have collapsed to single file after the first hill (I understand he helped her a little get up it and needed to be where he was)
After that they could have gone single file and let me through.

Im just trying to commute home from work.
    I lived there.
They're using their leisure time -- and not local; they were headed back to the P&R -- to control the entire road.
That road is 40 btw. I know it doesn't look like it would be, but there's a reason -- because us locals dont walk and ride bikes down it.
    Snobs from DC do.
