Definitely, absolutely the best Dylan cover, and best cover ever, from an artist who really did great work covering Dylan.

As for worst cover .. I'm surprised no-one has brought up that ugly piece of detritus inflicted upon the rest of the world by William Shatner ...

not just a bad cover, but truly one of the worst recordings made by anyone, anywhere, at any time since the invention of the Phonograph.

First he did the infamous talking and no singing Lucy in the Sky With Diamonds ..

then he butchered Mr Tambourine Man on this piece of trash.

Yeah, I think the English language changed to make shat the past tense of shit when that came out . . . I need to spread rep. before giving you some for pulling this one out of the memory bank.

I was going to mention that but I couldn't remember any of the individual songs that he did. Apparently, hearing it the first time was too traumatic, kinda like the "Tommy" effect.

Just remembered another great one: the Yes remake of "America" (Simon and Garfunkel original). The original is a classic and so is the remake because they are as different in style as two songs can be while sharing the same lyrics.

Worst: Britany Spears - Satisfaction, Basphemy.
Hmmm....what did you think of the Devo version? (ducking to avoid flying objects)
