Holy Buckeye for me. Not even close.

Terry Glenn had one of those spectacular diving catches. I forget the opponent (maybe PSU?) but the catch was remarkable, especially considering he dislocated his shoulder that play.

you talking about his catch at minnesota in 95?

In the grand scheme of things, this catch doesn't compare to some of the others on the list. The reason why this one feels so good, though, is that no one gave us a shot to beat Wiscy and it looked like their predictions were going to be accurate. We shocked the nation for the first time this year and the feeling of vindication is incomparable.

Troy to Robo: This play won Troy the Heisman, so for that reason alone it is important. Also, it is the most athletic play by the quarterback, as Troy eludes a heavy rush and then throws an absolute laser beam 55 yards.

Splitting hairs here, but I disagree--I think Troy's play against UM in '05 was more athletic--he and the LB were running directly toward one another, and suddenly Troy stops on a dime and jumps backwards, somehow avoiding the sack. I still don't know how he did that.

The great thing about the first two videos posted, Holy Buckeye at Purdue and The Catch at Michigan, is that if you close your eyes, listen to the call, and hear the crowd reaction, you cannot tell OSU was on the road.

:oh:

At this time. That play could've been the beginning of something special.

10 years later Holy Buckeye still gives me the chills. Granted, I think TS's throw at Penn St. solidified his Heisman win, and was pretty GD amazing.

Gonzo's catch in '10 just makes me smile, and want to throw up the bird to any TSuN fan.

Holy Buckeye gets my vote for all reasons that others have posted. One catch that I'll always remember was Terry Glenn slicing up the ND defense and sprinting to the end zone. It didn't have the significance of HB or The Catch, or any of the others listed, but that game sort of re-announced the return of Buckeye football to the national stage. Plus, I always enjoy the Bucks sticking it to the Domers.

Miller to Smith may one day be viewed as a turning point for the program (depends on how the team finishes this season). I stated this in another thread, but could you imagine the mood around the program had they not pulled this off? Instead, the fan base is rejuvenated, recruiting got a much needed shot in the arm, and I hope that the team feeds off of a big win. This season suddenly has possibilities instead of disaster. After all of the kicks to the groin that this program has received recently, a win like this was sorely needed.

Saturday night was Braxton's Holy Buckeye. I don't know why but I think the floodgates are going to open now and people are going to have him on every watch list there is next season. The coming out party could not have been better for him.

BTW, I voted for Holy Buckeye. Broke so many things on those 3 BW3's tables when we all jumped up and they didnt even make us pay for em!
