it was the least impressive catch of the bunch, but the after shocks of The Wink could be enormous, for Braxton's four year career (finally catching up to CFB and returning to the playmaker we saw in HS), for Fickell, for the psyche of the team, for the big ten race (particularly since Wisconsin was the biggest threat to become the conference flagbearer during this downturn ), for the fanbase, etc.

we won't know for a few years what this means.

it is hard to vote against The Catch, though I would argue a half dozen plays a year later were what truly killed Michigan's program. 07 was the ensuing decline.

this is a great point. Troy had showed in 04 what kind of "magic" he could bring (against air). I don't any of the Troy moments were surprising. likewise Krenzel was clutch and little else as a passer, though we were still learning that then.

that play completely changes the confidence level of so many buckeyes. many knew he had that potential but didn't know when or if it would surface. And when the throws were made, we didn't know if the ball would be dropped again.

the homer in me thinks that play could stand above them all someday.

Right now, I have to say Holy Buckeye. I still get crazy chills when I watch that play. Depending on future results, the Miller throw could become bigger, though.

Holy Buckeye was clearly the most significant, but The Catch was the best Catch out of all of them, and it was against scUM.
