I have a few of the Ratchel Ray books and the meals there are pretty simple, but also pretty good. And she is also hot.

any other cookbooks series you would recommend? I have seen Emerils books, but I cant stand the guy.

"The Barbeque Bible" by Steven Raichlen is pretty awesome. I use it a ton. His other books are pretty good too. I think he still has a show on PBS. He's kind of creepy looking, but his recipes and techniques are really good while letting you maintain your manhood at the grill.

Paula Deen's books are very good and easy also. She's from the Food Network also, but not hot like Rachel Ray.

If you're looking for a specific recipe, then allrecipes.com is the best place around. You type in a recipe and you'll get dozens, but the best part is that they're all rated from others that have used it. It's much easier to pick one out when 75 people have rated it and it's rated at 5 stars. I use that site all the time.

Julia Child has the worst books. Her recipes use items that no one even keeps in their kitchens.

The web site I had.. no longer works.. but is was way cool...

It provided a big list of items (meats, vegetables, spices)
then you checked the items you had
and it would come back with recipe options based on ingredients you checked

May have originally been thru AOL
