Bengals WR Chris Henry (official thread)

It appears that most of the sources that are reporting his death are making the assumption because homicide is investigating. In most metro areas, this is common practice when any incident involves a "life-threatening" injury. Not saying that the reports aren't true, but it appears that some media are jumping to conclusions w/o citing sources. Cincy media is still carrying this as "life-threatening" (although it doesn't sound good)...

Yea,that's what i've seen thus far..Basically tweets

My dad is the chief of police in Huntersville, which is the town just north of Charlotte and was actually at CMPD (Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Dept.) meeting with their chief of police Rodney Monroe when Monroe got the call about this incident. Basically, from what my dad understood, the fiancee was jerking the wheel back and forth and weaving (presumedably to throw him off I'm guessing) and Chris obviously fell out.

From what my dad heard his situation is grim... he's on life support and doesn't have much of a chance to live and is brain dead, obviously.

Thoughts and prayers with Chris Henry and his family, one of my HS teammates from two years ago is related to his fiancee.

Because he wasn't a Bengal the last time somebody posted in this thread, a year and a half ago. Too bad it takes him laying on his death bed for him to become relevant again.

Good catch, I didnt look to see.
From what I remember of the early part of the season though, he was quickly becoming relevant again before his injury. The bengals passing game has sorely missed him since then...

They just don't have anybody that can stretch the field. Henry did that for them, opening up a lot of stuff for other receivers.
